The Venerable Beop Song

The Venerable Beop Song became a Buddhist nun under the tutelage of the Vernerable Seongkwan in 1996. She has refined her practice of temple food with the guidance of master monks and nuns who have a deep foundational knowledge of the cuisine. To help people approach temple food easily and participate in its mindful cooking and eating, Beop Song has been actively sharing and teaching Korean temple food not only at various institutions, but also by touring for chefs from all over the world.

Starting in 2021, Beop Song has been delivering demonstrations of Korean Temple Food to students as part of the Diploma in Plant-Based Culinary Arts in Le Cordon Bleu.
