Make, Break, Remix explores the extraordinary impact of K-style on global pop culture, fashion, and design through interviews with eighteen pioneering tastemakers. Illustrated with photo-essays from less_TAEKYUN KIM, this is a definitive look at one of the most vibrant and exciting cultural phenomena in the world today.

Fiona Bae runs her own consultancy, which works to promote Korean culture and art around the world. She manages communications for Frieze Seoul 2022 and represented the Korean Pavilion at the Venice Biennale. Her writing about Seoul’s art and design scene has appeared in The New York Times, The Guardian and Monocle Magazine, among many others.

Fiona will be joined in conversation about her book and the significance of K-style by Na Kim. Na Kim is a designer and art director. She led the design of GRAPHIC magazine from 2009 to 2011 and has curated numerous exhibitions, most recently ‘Hallyu! The Korean Wave’ at the V&A, which considers similar themes to Make, Break, Remix and opens at the end of September.

The discussion will be followed by audience Q&A and a book signing. Doors open at 6:45pm.
