BIO:
- Cheongbin Yu
Born in South Korea, Cheongbin Yu obtained his Bachelor's degree at Seoul National University then continued his study in Piano Pedagogy at Hansei University. Since September 2017, he has been pursuing a Master’s degree at the Royal Academy of Music in London with a full scholarship, under the guidance of Christopher Elton and Joanna MacGregor.
Cheongbin has appeared as a soloist with Changwon Orchestra, Gunpo Symphony Orchestra and Chungju Symphony Orchestra in Korea. A prize winner of several major competitions in South Korea including first prizes at CBS, Chuncheon, Suri, and T&B Music Competitions, he also recently won the first prize at the Royal Academy of Music Lilian Davies Prize for an outstanding performance of a Beethoven Sonata.
Since 2016, Cheongbin has been a member of 'Piano Boulevard', an ensemble comprising seven Korean pianists with its aim to promote classical music to the general public through performances of familiar classical pieces heard in films.

South Korean pianist Victor Lim is an active soloist, chamber musician and song accompanist. He has appeared in several major venues in the UK such as the Wigmore Hall, Bridgewater Hall, Colston Hall and St. Martin-in-the-Fields, and his performances have been broadcasted on BBC Radio 3. Recent successes include second prize from the Intercollegiate Beethoven Competition, first prizes from RNCM Schubert and Beethoven competitions as well as awards from Help Musicians UK and the Countess of Munster Musical Trust.
Victor is currently studying at the Royal Academy of Music with Michael Dussek as the recipient of the Frances Earle Prize. Previously, he trained at Wells Cathedral School and at the Royal Northern College of Music where he was an ABRSM scholar.
Victor is a founding member of the Louko Piano Trio who were the winners of the Hirsch, Nossek and Christopher Rowland Ensemble of the Year Prizes at the RNCM as well as the Beethoven Piano Society of Europe Chamber Music Competition in London. He also performs regularly with pianist Ryan Drucker with whom he won the RNCM Piano Duo Prize in 2015.
