2025 Korean Language Course

The Korean Cultural Centre UK (KCCUK) is delighted to announce the schedule and application details for the 2025 Korean Language Course, part of the King Sejong Institute programme. This course offers a unique opportunity to learn the Korean language while immersing yourself in Korean culture.

Course Overview

  • Class Format

In-person classes: Only Sejong 1 (Beginner) classes held on Saturdays at the KCCUK.

All other classes: Conducted online via Zoom.

*All course materials will be provided by the assigned teacher.

1st Term (11 January – 28 March 2025)

Sejong 1 (Saturday): In-person (Morning: 10:00-12:00 / Afternoon: 12:00-14:00) – 11 January to 22 March

Sejong 1 (Wednesday): Online (19:00-21:00) – 15 January to 26 March

Sejong 3 (Thursday): Online (18:00-20:00) – 16 January to 27 March

Sejong 4 (Thursday): Online (20:00-22:00) – 16 January to 27 March

Sejong 2 (Friday): Online (18:00-20:00 / 20:00-22:00) – 17 January to 28 March


2nd Term (10 May – 25 July 2025)

Sejong 1 (Saturday): In-person (Morning: 10:00-12:00 / Afternoon: 12:00-14:00) – 10 May to 19 July

Sejong 1 (Wednesday): Online (19:00-21:00) – 14 May to 23 July

Sejong 3 (Thursday): Online (18:00-20:00) – 15 May to 24 July

Sejong 4 (Thursday): Online (20:00-22:00) – 15 May to 24 July

Sejong 2 (Friday): Online (18:00-20:00 / 20:00-22:00) – 16 May to 25 July


3rd Term (6 September – 21 November 2025)

Sejong 1 (Saturday): In-person (Morning: 10:00-12:00 / Afternoon: 12:00-14:00) – 6 September to 15 November

Sejong 1 (Wednesday): Online (19:00-21:00) – 10 September to 19 November

Sejong 3 (Thursday): Online (18:00-20:00) – 11 September to 20 November

Sejong 4 (Thursday): Online (20:00-22:00) – 11 September to 20 November

Sejong 2 (Friday): Online (18:00-20:00 / 20:00-22:00) – 12 September to 21 November

Final Acceptance Announcement

Successful applicants will be notified via email in the first week of January 2025. Please ensure your contact details are accurate and check your inbox regularly during this time.


  • Course Fee

£50 per term

Payment details will be provided to successful applicants.

Please note that the fee is non-refundable after the second week of the term.


  • Application Qualifications

Open to anyone aged 18 and over who is interested in learning Korean.

As the course fee is subsidised, applications from those who have dropped out of previous courses will not be accepted.

For intermediate and advanced classes, applicants must provide certification of completion for previous levels or demonstrate equivalent experience.
