During the class, you will learn how to make some Korean dishes from a Chef Lecturer at Westminster Kingsway College. The class is for all levels and abilities giving you the opportunity to try something new and experience some incredible flavour combinations. The hands-on half-day workshop will be hosted in the renowned training kitchens, the same kitchens where former students Jamie Oliver and Ainsley Harriott both learnt their trade.

For the ‘K-drama Street Food’ workshops (14 May & 11 June) you will have the chance to create the famous Korean Corn Dog (as seen in K-drama ‘Start-Up'), Honeycomb Dalgona (can you take on the delicate candy-cutting challenge as seen in Squid Game..?) and Tteokbokki (Korea’s spicy rice cake dish as seen in ‘Vincenzo’).

At the Kimchi workshop (21 May & 18 June), you will try your hand at making this traditional Korean dish, abundant in flavour and health benefits. Recipes will include making kimchi pancakes and bibimbap.

The final workshop will be a Vegan workshop (18 June). This session will have a focus on food sustainability, so if you are interested in how a healthy plate can equal a healthy planet then this is the workshop for you. Dishes of the day will include potato pancake, mayak gimbap (Mini seaweed rolls) and a ‘one-pot’ vegetable rice bowl.

The workshop will run 4 times, during Saturdays in May and June from 10 am to 1.30 pm, at the Westminster Kingsway College’s Victoria Centre in central London. Each workshop costs £60 or £100 for two workshops, which includes the specialised teaching from the college's Chef Lecturer, all ingredients for the various dishes on the menu and a certificate of completion issued by Westminster Kingsway College – places are limited.
