Our ‘Korea Day’ has been running for the past few years, where we bring Korean culture to various cities around the UK.

Korea Day is a yearly event organised by Korea Society, University of Sheffield to celebrate all things Korean from traditional food to contemporary performances. we're putting on a fun-filled day of live performances, tasty foods and unique experiences.

This year Korea day has been created with the help of K-Pop dance society, Korea studies department and the Korean Cultural Centre UK to help bring Korean culture to Sheffield.

We have prepared many activities for the day including:

  • Traditional Korean games
  • Korean food
  • Traditional performances
  • K-Pop performances
  • Hanbok
  • Calligraphy
  • Korean snacks
  • and much more

Korea Day will be Saturday 12th February 2022 at The Octagon centre, Sheffield. Booths will be 12:00pm- 17:00pm and performances will be from 13:00pm-17:00pm. There is a £5 entry fee.


The 2022 Sheffield Korean Illustrated Poetry Contest Award Ceremony will also be taking place.
