Founded in 2007, the Novus String Quartet - Jaeyoung Kim (violin), Young-uk Kim (violin), Kyuhyun Kim (viola) and Wonhae Lee (cello) – has developed an international reputation ever since winning first prize at the Salzburg Mozart Competition in 2014. The quartet made their Edinburgh International Festival debut in 2023.
Recorded in 2022, this is the first part of their music journey to perform the entire string quartet of Beethoven. The concert includes three pieces of the string quartet, showcasing their well-balanced skill and artistry.
