This 10-week course explores the various wonders of Korea through lectures and workshops with the UK and Korea’s leading experts on Korean culture. This year we celebrate 10 years since the first K-pop academy with an online make-over.

Join us for a series of fun, educational lectures and workshops on the online platform, covering everything from K-Pop dance workshop to traditional Korean clothing and cuisine. Everyone is welcome regardless of age, location or current knowledge of Korean culture! Special guest speakers for this 19th edition include Prof J. Kiaer (University of Oxford), Dr Anders Karlsson (SOAS), Korean food expert Da-Hae West, and choreographer Jay Kim.

Upon the completion of the course you will have developed a deeper understanding of Korea and Korean culture, from this we hope that your affinity with Korea will last a lifetime.

And that’s not all: Calling all K-Pop Academy graduates all over the world.
Join the K-pop academy again and expand your knowledge of Korean culture, meet like-minded people and share your passion. To accommodate graduates we have made this edition’s programme more fun and advanced than in previous years.
