Quiz on Korea 2017 UK Round

Participants: Any UK national aged 18 or over.
*Notes
- 1st prize winners from previous Quiz on Korea contests cannot enter again, however, 2nd prize winners and runners-up from previous contests are welcome to apply again this year.
-Since the winner of the UK round will represent the UK at the Final round in Korea this contest is only open to British Citizens
-The winner will be invited to attend the final round in Korea so you should be eligible for staying in Korea in September. If the 1st Prize winner can’t make it then this chance will be offered to the 2nd Prize winner.
-At the Final Round in Korea, the questions are given in Korean.
Application Procedure
• Application Deadline: 10th July 2017, 18:00

Available Spaces: No limit but if the number of applicants is over 30, there will be a preliminary test before the event.
Quiz Show Rules:
-The MC will begin with several multiple-choice questions.
-The participants will write their answers on a whiteboard within the allotted 15 seconds.
-After the buzzer, the participants will lift up their whiteboards and show their answers to the MC.
-If your answer is wrong, you are out of the quiz and the MC will invite you to sit in the audience area.
- For the last stage of the quiz, the format changes to a general quiz show format. With 5 contestants remaining from the previous knockout stage, the MC will ask a series of questions with each contestant writing their answers on their whiteboards. At the end of the quiz, the contestant with the most answers is the winner.
Awards
1st Prize Winner: Opportunity to take part in the Final Round of Quiz on Korea including, Return Flights to Korea, Accommodation and board.
Also, different gifts will be provided for those in the 2nd ~ 5th places.
