Korean contemporary dance group Y Dance will perform “넋 (NEOK): SOUL” at The Place’s annual festival of new choreography - Resolution 2019.
Y Dance are a dance project group from Korea who explore and challenge the vocabulary of movement through both Korean and contemporary dance.
“넋 (NEOK): SOUL” is a cross-over piece that at its heart is a discussion about the combined impacts of social pressure and mental illness. The performance explores the desire to end it all and the turmoil felt when struggling with inner conflicts.
