About the Artists


Esther Park

Violinist Esther Park is known for performances that combine individuality and emotional depth, connecting audiences through both classical and contemporary repertoire. She is the 2024 North and East London Young Musician of the Year, winner of the North London Festival D’Addario String Prize, International Artists Award (19–26 Category), and the RCM Violin and String Quartet Competitions.

Esther has performed as soloist with Maxim Vengerov and the Oxford Philharmonic at the Royal Albert Hall, in Wigmore Hall’s Quartet for the End of Time, and in major venues including Bridgewater Hall, St James’s Piccadilly, and Kumho Arts Hall. She has received guidance from Leonidas Kavakos, Alina Ibragimova, Dong-Suk Kang, and Gyorgy Pauk.

A member of the prizewinning Brompton Quartet, Esther appears regularly on BBC Radio 3 and at Wigmore Hall, Conway Hall, and the Southbank Centre. She studied at the Yehudi Menuhin School and the Royal College of Music, completing an Artist Diploma with Distinction.

Wallis Power

London-born cellist Wallis Power enjoys a multifaceted career as soloist, chamber musician, orchestral player, and teacher. Earlier this year, she joined the BBC Symphony Orchestra. She also freelances with leading ensembles including the Philharmonia, London Sinfonietta, London Philharmonic Orchestra, London Mozart Players, and English National Opera Orchestra.

Wallis studied music at Pembroke College, Cambridge, where she was an Instrumental Award Holder and principal cellist of the Cambridge University Chamber Orchestra, before completing her Master’s in Performance with Distinction at the Royal College of Music under Richard Lester.

A founding member of the Brompton String Quartet, winners of the 2019 St Martin-in-the-Fields Chamber Music Competition, she has performed at Wigmore Hall, Kings Place, Conway Hall, and across the UK as Park Lane Group Artists.

As a soloist, Wallis has appeared at the Endellion Easter Festival performing Errollyn Wallen’s Cello Concerto and with Her Ensemble at Birmingham’s CrossCurrents Festival. She also performs the Bach Cello Suites at venues throughout London.
