Venue:

Korean Cultural Centre UK

Education

KCCUK will participate in the Junior Jamboree event held at Weddecar Scout Activity Centre in Preston, Lancashire, United Kingdom, on April 13th. We will operate a Korean cultural experience zone.

Junior Jamboree is an event for scouts aged 4 to 10 from West Lancashire Scouts, located in the northwest of England's Lancashire region, running from April 12th to 14th. West Lancashire Scouts is one of the local organizations with the highest number of scout members in the UK Scout Association. Last year, 36 members and 4 scout leaders participated in the 2023 New Year's World Scout Jamboree.

The Korean cultural experience zone will feature activities such as traditional folk painting, making lanterns, and traditional games (tuho, jegichagi), targeting over 300 scout members and their families.
