K-POP Lyrics Workshop with Lyricist JQ
The Korean Cultural Centre UK will host a two-day workshop, “Unlocking the Secret of K-POP Lyrics”, led by renowned lyricist JQ. This programme is designed for K-POP fans who wish to explore the meaning behind their favourite songs and experience lyric writing first-hand.

Programme
- Day 1: Analysing emotion in K-POP lyrics and writing a short two-line lyric
- Day 2: Understanding the art of the “hook” and creating your own one-liner with feedback
About the Instructor
JQ has written over 500 songs for leading artists including EXO (Ko Ko Bop), Red Velvet (Bad Boy), and SHAUN (Way Back Home). With numerous chart-topping hits, he is also CEO of MUMW Entertainment, nurturing the next generation of K-POP artists.
