2013 Edinburgh Festival Fringe‎ - K- Sori Akdong

Date: 19 Aug (Mon) 19:00

 Venue: Acoustic Music Centre@St Bride's

 Genres: Music

 Tickets: Free

A show made by a group of young musical prodigies, Akdong, and two very famous musicians (singer and pianist) from Korea. They have created an experimental performance of crossover music with traditional instruments such as gayageum - the Korean harp, piri - the Korean pipes, and Pansori - the Korean opera. There will be a blend of traditional and contemporary music, and we will cross boundaries of all kinds of sound. Experience the sound which did not exist before. If you are looking for something new and revelatory, then you must not miss this remarkable show!
