Recruiting Docent Volunteers - <Across the Decades>: Celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the National Academy of Arts (1954-2024)

The Korean Cultural Centre UK (KCCUK) is looking for volunteer docents to support our upcoming exhibition <Across the Decades>: Celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the National Academy of Arts (1954-2024)

The work is voluntary, split into morning and afternoon sessions on weekday, and Saturdays from 11am to 4pm. A transportation fee (£8/session) will be provided at the end of the volunteering period.

* Preferable candidates will have an interest in Korean art and culture.

○ Exhibition Dates: 4 July 2024 – 23 August 2024

[ Mon–Fri ]

Slot 1: 10am - 2pm

Slot 2: 2pm – 5:30pm

[Sat]
Slot: 11am – 4pm

* You can choose either the morning(slot1) or afternoon(slot2) slot during the exhibition run. However, you can be allocated at any slots if there’s not sufficient applicant for specific slot.

* Please note that there is only one available slot on Saturday but be aware that it will be counted as two slots.

* Please provide details of any dates that you will not be able to attend on the application form.

* A certificate will be given to those who have participated in a minimum of 7 sessions during the whole exhibition.
