Employer: Korean Cultural Centre UK
Salary: £ 20,800 – £ 22,880 per annum pro rata (fixed) / dependent on experience
Term: 2 months (7 October - 1 December 2019*). The position is offered on a temporary basis, it is a full-time post lasting 2 months, covering the period in preparation, build up, operation and debrief of the 2019 London Korean Film Festival.
Hours: 40 hours per week on average in order to fulfil the scope of responsibilities within the post. This will involve some weekend and evening work, and the hours can be flexible to accommodate this
Notice Period: There is a 2-week probationary period, and, if successful, the candidate will be confirmed. Upon confirmation, either party will provide 2-weeks’ notice should they wish to terminate the agreement prior to the end of the contract
Right to work: The successful applicant will be required to provide documentation that proves their right to work in the UK

(2) Job Description
The Production Coordinator is a core member of the festival team. Reporting to the Festival Producer, the main purpose of the role is to assist the Festival Manager and Programme & Venue Manager in the successful delivery of the London Korean Film Festival 2019 programme, in London (1-14 November) and on tour (18-24 November), as well as provide overall team support as and when required.
(3) Responsibilities and Accountabilities
In coordination with the Programme & Venue Manager, liaise with festival venues with regards to delivery and testing of screening materials for all public screenings, ensuring all titles are screened in the right format, at the right time, in the right venue
To coordinate the transportation of films and accompanying paperwork, booking both national and international couriers (eg Federal Express, DHL etc)
To assist the Marketing Coordinator with production of on screen marketing assets (e.g. holding slides) and/or any additional on screen assets associated with the special events, and ensure their timely delivery to the respective venues
In coordination with the Marketing Coordinator, produce social media content and/or carry out festival outreach
Ad hoc assistance on site during the festival days (1-14 November), e.g. liaising with members of the public or guests & partners, handing out audience feedback surveys, volunteer desk supervision, etc.

(4) Personal Specification
Experience of working in a film festival or similar cultural event in a marketing and/or events role (minimum 1 year)
Understanding of various screening formats, experience handling audio-visual content
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and to manage and meet changing deadlines
Excellent attention to detail and confidentiality
Experience using a variety of social media platforms for advertising and promotion
Copywriting and proof-reading skills for off-line promotion
Good IT skills including MS Office, skilled in Excel
A proactive and customer focused approach delivered within a best practice framework
Demonstrable commitment to the principles of diversity and inclusion and its practical application and integration in the work environment
Ability to work flexible hours (there is a requirement to work outside contracted hours, including some evenings and weekends)
Ability to work well as part of the core film festival team and to develop and maintain relationships with external partners.
Well-organised and effective at prioritising work and managing deadlines under pressure.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
