London Korean Film Festival 2011

The London Korean Film Festival returned to London to celebrate its sixth year in 2011. It ran from 3-24 November with a spotlight focus on the North and South divide and the‘Forgotten War’ as depicted by the Korean Film Industry. The festival saw the arrival of a wide range of special guest appearance, including Director Ryoo Seung-wan at the Apollo Cinema which screened his complete filmography and a surprise appearance by SHINee at the Opening Gala Concert. From 11 November the festival began touring the UK with multiple screenings in Sheffield, Cambridge and Newcastle.
