Hallyu Con, the UK’s leading Korean Wave celebration, returns to London on Friday, November 21 2025, marking its 5th anniversary with a vibrant, convention-style event. Hosted by The Korean Wave Communities (MyWave Collective, Radio Kimchi UK, and The K-Way) with support from the Korean Cultural Centre UK (KCCUK), this year’s edition promises to be a landmark celebration of culture, creativity and community.
Themed “5 Years of Hallyu Con – Past, Present, Future,” the event will showcase the richness of Korean traditions and contemporary influences through immersive experiences and interactive installations. Attendees will be able to enjoy a wide range of activities including hanbok try-ons, Korean calligraphy workshops, K-beauty and fashion and live performances. The event will also feature Hallyu Lane, a curated marketplace of K-related brands, food and lifestyle products.
Beyond entertainment, Hallyu Con 2025 aims to foster dialogue on cultural exchange and the evolving role of Korean culture in the UK and Europe. Visitors can engage in thought-provoking discussions, such as the “Working in Hallyu” panel and connect directly with creators, artists and community leaders shaping the global K-culture landscape.

Over the past five years, Hallyu Con has grown into a staple of the UK cultural calendar, reaching more than 10 million fans online and in-person. This milestone edition will highlight the continued growth of Hallyu while strengthening cultural ties between Korea and the UK.

About Hallyu Con
Hallyu Con is a government awarded platform that has reached over 10 million hallyu fans and aims to share, showcase and celebrate the Korean Wave (Hallyu) in its various forms and provide a ‘safe’ space where Korean culture enthusiasts and K-Pop fans alike can engage with immersive events, while sharing their experiences and connecting with each other.
The platform was established in late 2019 by a diverse group of young women who desired to create a more accessible and safe environment for UK-based hallyu enthusiasts; subsequently allowing fans to indulge in bespoke hallyu-related content, activities and events.
The founders set out on this journey because they are avid hallyu and cultural connectivity enthusiasts themselves and truly felt that there weren’t sufficient opportunities to indulge in hallyu in the UK.
